The exhibition, entitled Specific Ambiguity, is accompanied by our most recent book, published by Aquine. Both in the book and the exhibition, we explore possible material and spatial scenarios around the work done in the past ten years, reviewed through the lens of kinetic art, seeking to establish links between the ideas of static and dynamic space, away from a clear definition of an absolute interior or an unlimited exterior, and departing from the opportunities offered by the idea of an intermediate space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Para nosotros el espacio intermedio se presenta como un lugar en s\u00ed mismo que debe ser explorado y representado a trav\u00e9s de otros recursos menos puros, pero m\u00e1s din\u00e1micos e idiosincr\u00e1ticos como lo son: cortinas e instalaciones que se mueven con el aire, al paso de las personas, estructuras que vibran con el viento y el movimiento del observador, llevando la idea de estructura a ser un elemento organizador y ambiguo al mismo tiempo para construir otra manera – desde las ideas y materialidades del arte cin\u00e9tico – de hacer espacio, m\u00e1s democr\u00e1tica y p\u00fablica, necesaria y cr\u00edtica, tanto desde algunos de nuestros edificios construidos y no construidos, as\u00ed como desde el firme compromiso de poner las ideas por escrito y hacerlas circular, como espacio, texto y posicionamiento cr\u00edtico.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
