Our project for Fundo Moray, seeks to dilute history as time, the limits of space and geography as architecture and landscape.

Based on the elements of local and universal architecture we creatd create a series of layers of time and experience made of structural skeletons and bodies of surfaces. From digging the mountain and to return to earthto be able to contrast the experience of self-absorption (patios) and contemplation (terraces and viewpoints), enriching and highlighting the relationship with a unique and special, mythical and unforgettable place. This objective is carried out through the creation of a relation between forms and typologies (arcades, platforms, terraces, axes) of Peru and the world, to lead the visitor to create his own image of space and geography through his own and collective experience, with such subtlety and delicacy that its appearance was almost like a vestige, and a character that it had always been there.

Our intervention is organized from a Cartesian order marked as a crossroads, by a foundational action and ceremonial rhythm of 4 squares in ascending order, forming a rectangle that marks and occupies the entire property, and bordered laterally in longitudinal direction by a low wall of 50 cm height on each side, indicating a slight line / gesture in the geography. in a Perpendicular direction to this main rectangle, a connection axis is established both towards Moray viewpoint and MIL restaurant, as well as a bridge that crosses the stream and allows to expand the range of the experience of the landscape and the property.

The first square from bottom to top in the upward direction of the slope, carries a slightly buried block, this contains parking, and special equipment, as well as technical spaces to support the farm. This square is planted with a corn crop that slightly veils the core of the project.

For square number 2, we have arranged an echo of the Andean and pre-Columbian system of terraces and platforms, which allow us to build a ceremonial approach to the functional and habitational core of the project, guiding the rhythm of movement and emphasizing the look in a clear and direct axis.

The functional core of the project is the square 3, which is almost a buried cube, becoming a welcoming arcade for the visitor and that inside, making it porous, contains a series of self-reference patios.

While the collective services open to the public such as the restaurant, kitchen and the multiple hall protrude slightly on this platform, allowing a relation of contemplation on the surrounding landscape.

Square 4 is divided into 4 quadrants, where the circular water reservoir isand a small forest of native trees is placed against it to contain the wind and give reference in the distant landscape.
